Overview
Mexico City is one of our favorite places to take people, and we're not subtle about it. The food is absurd. The neighborhoods have real stories, not plaque-on-a-wall stories. And there's a particular energy to the place that makes everyone say the same thing around day three: why did I only book four nights.
So we built the week around the parts we keep coming back for. Tacos eaten standing up, from the spots locals go to. Mezcal poured by someone who can tell you which hillside the agave grew on. A long brunch on a floating farm in Xochimilco. Afternoons in neighborhoods full of color, markets and women who did extraordinary things here.
And then we left a whole day empty. On purpose. Because the best story you bring home is usually the one nobody scheduled — the café you wandered into, the shop you couldn't walk past, the lunch that quietly turned into dinner.
